The sacred union (marriage) of body, mind, spirit - the subtle bodies, chakras, channels and systems that make up being human as we realize our Divinity and Infinite Awareness. Yoga is the art of stepping into total liberation from the physical body without abandoning the body. Yoga is merging the conscious with the subconscious, becoming whole and expanded into Divine Consciousness. Yoga is the technology and method of mastering the physical experience and becoming a divine human: One who is in harmony with their sacred heart, Creator, Creation, Elements and the greater Universe known and unknown.
Yin yoga is known as the quiet practice, attending to the forgotten inner realms. The focus of this class is to promote personal growth, a clearing of energy blocks, and enhancing circulation and flexibility. Yin yoga focuses on the connective tissues as well as the meridians that end in the lower body. Poses are mostly performed from a seated or reclined position and are held for extended periods of time. Yin Yoga fosters a state of relaxation in the body that facilitates the development of flexibility, lubrication and rehabilitation of the connective tissue that forms the joints. Yolanda is passionate about bringing the sacred breath and awareness through the physical body to unify body, mind, and spirit. With intentional breath and color visualizations, you'll ignite your inner radiance and parasympathetic nervous system for deep rest and healing.
Experience a sense of deep relaxation and gain clarity, insight, and inspiration through the ancient art of yogic sleep.
A total mind/body/chakra system balancing practice with meditation, pranayama, and Asanas moving with the flow of your breath to energize, strengthen, tone and stretch the physical body. Focused on connecting and breathing through the heart center for divine alignment and a high-vibe day. A solarizing flow perfect for the creative free-spirit, harmonizing with the Universal elemental forces, moving at a relaxed pace with Asanas, deep stretching and breath. Poses are adjusted to meet individual needs. Practice is started with pranayama, grounding/earthing, flowing into a playful mix of sun salutations inspired by the teachings of yoga: asana, pranayama, bandha, sound, chanting, meditation, personal ritual and study of texts. Style of yoga is inspired by Hatha, Yin, Kriya, Vinyasa, Power, Viniyoga, and Kundalini, connecting the breath to movement to create heat designed to purify and balance the body's chakras. This class is designed to activate your creativity, reconnect to your body, open your heart center, nurture your inner child, stand in your power, connect to the elements, strengthen your nervous system/core, and raise your vibration/life force. Class ends with a yin or restorative sequence to prepare for a mini-Yoga Nidra to reset the nervous system releasing stored emotions and stress.
While there are hundreds of different chakras in the body repre-
senting energy centers large and small, it’s most productive to focus on the seven core chakras. According to centuries-old Tantric and Vedic tradition, there are seven subtle energy centers aligned within our bodies. Each of these energy centers, known as “chakras”, is associated with a different part of the body, different emotions, different aspects of life, and a different designated color. Optimal health and wellbeing are better achieved when all seven chakras are in balance. The chakras are an integral part of several wellness practices, from Reiki to Ayurveda and Yoga – as well as meditation. Chakra Meditation can help identify which of your chakras are blocked, and uses special meditative techniques to release and restore harmony throughout your being. It can also simply enhance the power that lies within each chakra. Depending on your knowledge and understanding of the seven chakras, your teacher might take time to talk through each of them first. In one-on-one sessions, there may be more specific discussion about any discomforts, concerns or challenges you’ve been feeling or facing in your life. Above all, your teacher will ensure you feel comfortable opening up. Chakra Meditation can also be practiced with an emphasis on one, a few or all chakras, regardless of your current state, as all are always present within us and can be tapped into. Dialoging, pranayama and other verbally-guided techniques may be used to evaluate and test your different chakras, and help identify which areas will be most beneficial for you to focus on. Engaging with these centers through focused meditation, may help to restore balance within one or across all chakras. You may feel waves of calm wash over you, a needed flame re-ignited, a dissolution of negative energy.
Technically an umbrella term that encompasses most other forms of yoga commonly taught and practiced today, Hatha is also considered its own type of yoga. It emphasizes mastery of the body through intentional physical exercises, often moving at a slower pace to more specifically and deeply explore each asana. Hatha yoga classes are built around a mindful progression of sustained poses. Each may be held for a longer period of time compared with faster-flow yoga practices. This offers the ability to really feel your body and take at least several breaths in each asana, making adjustments based on your teachers cues to help you sink deeper into your practice. The slower-to-moderate pacing can be deceivingly challenging, engaging muscles throughout your body and improving stability and balance. Both calming and strengthening, Hatha can be as effective as an introductory form of yoga as it can be a challenge for experienced students. It offers opportunity for more thorough explanation and exploration of each posture, which can translate to a more comprehensive practice that is felt both within Hatha as well as holding relevance for other yoga forms. If you are interested in greater body awareness in your practice, Hatha has much to offer.
Perhaps the fastest and one of the more physically intense forms of yoga, Power Yoga is focused on combinations of more quickly-paced movements, as you work through varying series of asana. It may incorporate elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha and other forms of yoga. Harness your inner fire to propel you through your Power Yoga practice. Sequences are designed to push you physically, generating detoxifying heat and sweat, exercising your muscles and structural systems (and lungs!), and challenging and training your endurance. It’s particularly important to be well-hydrated before starting your class. There are many benefits if you are seeking more of a workout- or physical fitness-based yoga practice, Power Yoga may be for you. It may be more challenging for beginner yogis, given the faster pace and flow of asana.
A complete yoga practice infusing many styles of yoga together to achieve balance from head to toes. A little shamanic breathwork and asanas that align with the elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Ether.

Women have known since the dawn of time that we are connected to the moon, so why doesn’t our yoga practice reflect that beautiful cycle of energy? Let’s explore how to shift your practice from day to day, week to week, to follow the ups and downs of energy flow each month. Beginning with a basic overview of the progression of the Moon’s cycle, and how to chart it, we’ll then dive into what that does for your body. From the low and intuitive energy of the New Moon, to the high and powerful energy of the Full Moon, and back again, our bodies and the way they move directly correlate to this path of the Moon in the heavens. After we have established what the cycle of the Moon feels like without and within, we will then experience a mini yoga class of a number of different styles of yoga that can directly compliment that flow.
Purifying One’s Consciousness from Unconscious to Super-conscious. Most human beings are governed by their unconscious, which is developed through the programming of one’s life experiences. Living in the unconscious inhibits us from experiencing insight and bliss in each moment of our living. In this class, we will explore ancient kriya techniques and learn how to integrate them into the asana and pranayama practice, leading us out of the unconscious and into a state of super-conscious, which is unbound and unlimited. Yogiraj Alan Finger will then offer tools for samyama: how to bring that inspired state into each moment of your living.

My method is a blend of shamanic & yogic pranayama and hands-on energy healing. I typically spend some time teaching you how to breathe using the diaphragm and abdominal muscles. It is always unique to each person depending on their needs, transformational and healing results are immediate. Some say they experience heightened senses, massive creative surge of energy, dissolved tension, release of stuck grief, heart opening and deep healing: just to name a few benefits.
